Scholarship Info

Scholarships for the CFA Program are available on a limited basis through some universities and CFA Institute local Member Societies.  Information about these scholarships can be obtained from the CFA Institute website.

A limited number Scholarships are available for the June and Dec exams to qualified candidates. Download a June application or December application and email it to our educational chair, with your name, candidate number, level and email address. In addition, you are required to certify that your employer will not reimburse you for exam fees as well as answer the following questions.

  • Why are you undertaking the CFA examination process and how will it be applied to your career? (limit your answer to 100 words)


  • Pick a publicly traded company and provide an analysis of its prospects. (limit your answer to 500 words)
  • Level I candidates will be reimbursed through the CFA Institute once their scholarship application has been accepted. Level II and Level III candidates will need to pay the cost of the exam up front and will be reimbursed only if they pass. Repayment for Level II and Level III candidates will be provided by the CFA Society of Orlando.

    Scholarship applications for the December exam are due August 31.
    Scholarship applications for the June exam are due January 28.

    Study Groups

    The CFA Society of Orlando does not organize any study groups, but only facilitates for candidates to get in contact with other candidates who are interested in study groups.

    If you are interested in finding other candidate in this this area, please send an email to our educational chair, with your name, candidate number, level and email address.  After verifying your registration with the CFA Institute, he/she will email you the names and email addresses of all candidates that have showed interest in being a part of a study group.
