Investment Consulting Analyst
Job Description:
The Investment Consulting Analyst is an integral member of the Institutional
Consulting Group. Activities include working with the team and others
to manage investment-related data (including various platforms, managers/funds,
universes and indices) for use in reporting, manager/fund selection,
strategic and tactical asset allocation modeling, proposals and presentations,
communication materials and client acquisition. The team is located
in Orlando Florida and has a long established consulting practice.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited
university (business degree with a concentration or concentrations in
finance, investments and/or quantitative methods preferred), minimum
of 3 years institutional/high net worth consulting experience, as well
as an aptitude for related systems and data. Preference will be given
to candidates holding a CFA, MBA or MS (Applied Economics). The
candidate will have strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office,
and will have the ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems
and applications (Zephry Style Advisor, Ibbotson Analyzer and Optimizer,
Morningstar Principia, Bloomberg, etc.). The candidate must also have
excellent written and oral communication skills, as interaction with
the client, team and other areas of the firm is critical to success.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and will be a “self
starter” working continuously under tight deadlines and managing multiple
projects. The candidate will be expected to have or pursue the appropriate
securities licenses (Series 7, 66, etc.) and industry designations (CIMA,
CFA, etc.) and/or degree seeking graduate level education. Morgan Stanley
