1st annual Florida Investment Research Challenge a Success!

On January 16, 2010, at the CFA Institute Regional Conference in Naples, Florida, 6 universities participated in Florida’s 1st state-wide Investment Research Challenge as part of the CFA Institute’s Global Investment Research Challenge. We congratulate the winning team, the University of North Florida, who advance to the Americas Challenge in New York City in March! We also congratulate Stetson University on their 2nd place result and the outstanding effort put forth by students Justin Hunter, Stacey Hudson, Jordan Slingo, and Ryan Jungk. We also thank and commend the team’s University Advisor, Dr. KC Ma, the team’s volunteer mentor John Wilson, CFA, and volunteer grader and judge, Barry White, CFA.
