Panel of Distinguished Speakers will address:
Return to Prosperity or False Dawn?
In the spring of 2009, the world economy teetered on the edge of a global economic and financial abyss the likes of which the world has not seen since the Great Depression. Since then, stocks have staged a record-breaking rally suggesting to many that the V-shaped stock market rally will be followed by a V-shaped economic recovery. To others, however, the world economy is far from out of the woods and doubts regarding the sustainability of an economic recovery abound. Will the global economy experience a return to prosperity or does the optimism represent a false dawn?
